OMG: FIR against Yash
If Rocking Star Yash is making enough noise at the box office, every now and then, he also makes headlines for alleged financial misdealings. The latest, we hear, is that the actor has been named defaulter by the owner of the house he has been renting out since 2010.
According to the complaint filed by Muniprasad, who owns the property in Girinagar, Yash has failed to pay rent (Rs 40,000 per month) for a year.

The actor has his own house in the vicinity, which sources claim was a gift from producer K Manju after the success of Raja Huli, yet he continues to occupy the rented premises from time to time. Sources say that Yash has a sentimental attachment to the house, as he struck rich after moving there.
Muniprasad, who claims to have made several attempts to recover the dues owed to him, filed a police complaint against Yash and his mother, Pushpa, for failing to pay up and to get them to vacate his property. A copy of the plaint is with Bangalore Times. Meanwhile, another version of the story has surfaced that the actor is willing to vacate, provided the owner reimburses him for whatever he has spent on the renovation of the house during his stay there. We tried reaching Yash, but he remained unavailable for comment till the time of going to press.
